ooh.. never thought of that...

They don't do the glove full of ice thing at my unit.  They tend to have a lot of ice packs that came with the arenesp when it was shipped.  They keep those in the freezer and use them when ice is needed to keep bruising away.  They give them out too.  I've got several of them in my freezer.
