Eye Dr. Visit

Went for eye Dr. visit today with mild pain in my left eye,told me i have a cataract b/c of anti rej. drugs& that i would need surgery in another yr or two.Most of my teeth have done fell out too.What else is going to give out on me?Has anyone else have this happen after tx.    Chris

How long did you have ESRD prior to transplant?

ESRD increases one's risk of cataracts.
So can diabetes.

I was on dialysis for 2 years prior to transplant.
And I'm getting cataracts too.

Ty for your responce....I was on D for 5months,no diabetes.The cataracts beats D anyday,Lost my vision to high BP when i went into ESRD.After got bp under control sight went back to "normal".
