Well, as some of you may know I got out of that hellhole center I was going to.
I now go to a Fresenius center. I like it, like the people there and they aren't slow. The only thing I've noticed the dietition and social worker don't round as much as they did at my other center, in fact, I've been there 3 weeks and haven't seen the dietition yet and even had a monthly! Maybe they don't come around as much in some centers, or maybe they don't come at all unless they notice something bad on your labs? I even had to ask if they had a dietition! lol.
I have no idea but wish I would of went to this center in the first place.

May 13, 2009, went to urgent care with shortness of breath
May 19, 2009, went to doctor for severe nausea
May 20, 2009, admited to hospital for kidney failure
May 20, 2009, started dialysis with a groin cath
May 25, 2009, permacath was placed
august 24, 2009, was suppose to have access placement but instead was admited to hospital for low potassium
august 25, 2009, access placement
January 16, 2010 thrombectomy was done on access

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

i think it makes all the difference in the world if your happy in your center.  OUrs was great! and, i actually miss it and the techs/nurses and patients.  I couldnt believe what others were going through and was so thankful we hadnt gone through that!!  I hope it continues to 'please' you   ;D
