Lilbajanne (Samano) is getting married today.  She is marrying a wonderful young man named Philon Thomas. It is a very quiet ceremony with only about 20 friends attending.  The ceremony will be at 11.00 this morning with lunch afterwards.  Please remember them in your prayers and caring thoughts.

Pyelonephritis (began at 8 mos old)
Home haemo 1980-1985 (self-cannulated with 15 gauge sharps)
Cadaveric transplant 1985
New upper-arm fistula April 2008
Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008
Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008
(2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly)
Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes.
Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009
First failed kidney transplant removed Apr.  2009
Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges

We are very excited for Sam.  Wishing her a lifetime of happiness with Philon.  What do the boys think of him?  Sam is going to be surrounded by men!  Thank goodness she still has you!   :rofl;   

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers all day.  Hoping the sun shines on this blessed day.    Love to all of you.

ps. I can't wait to tell Beth tonight.  She'll be so happy for Sam (and a little jealous!!).

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

Thank you so much.  Well, Christopher has totally come around (when he accepted that his mom and dad would never make it) and Jayden considers Philon his father.  He calls him 'Da-da' and hasn't really called anyone in the home by name yet!!  Philon tells people that Jayden is his first born.  He plans to legally adopt him.
Since they will have a different last name from Christopher, Sam told Christopher that he can be a secret Thomas, and he is thrilled with that!

I just love wedding pictures.  It makes me feel like jelly all over.  Love the dress!!!! And her hair.  They are a beautiful couple.  God Bless them.
