Hi everyone.  My Name is Dave and the K stands for the first initial of my last name.  I'm 58 years old and have been on dialysis for over two years.  I live in Northern Californian by myself and go to dialysis three times a week.  I hate dialysis.

Hello everyone.  My name is Dave and I'm a male living in Stockton California.  I tried to add this to my profile, but it didn't work.  I've enjoyed reading the posts from other members and at times I would like to throw in my 2 cents worth.

Thanks for the headache.  Trying to figure out everything and reading the rules and regulations is just too much for a simple person like my self.  I won't be making any posts or adding any comments.  I will read what others have to say and leave it like that.  Sorry I can't contribute anything.

Dave, please don't give up or be put off by "rules and regulations".  We all have something to contribute, even if it's just to say "yeah that happened to me too" or "I tried this" or whatever.  The moderators here are very nice really and if you make any "mistakes" like posting in the wrong section, someone will move it.

The site isn't hard...although dialysis and kidney disease sure are.   :cuddle;

 :welcomesign;  Dave.  I hope you'll tell us more about yourself later on.  Are you pre-dialysis?  On hemo?  PD?   You know, all that jazz.

 :welcomesign;  I should have read this post first...a moderator will probably merge tis thread with the other one of yours.  What was the cause of your kidney failure?

Don't run out now, really.  The rules are pretty basic - don't be a troll is pretty much the big one.  Hey, lots of people don't even read them, and they do just fine on here.  If you do something that breaks one of the smaller rules about posting ettiquette consistently, one of us will ask you politely not to do it again, and that's about it.

Awww, Dave.  You've probably got loads to contribute.  Come back!  I'll let you in on a secret ... I've NEVER read the rules and regs (yeh, me bad) because I too am a simple person. Plus I have the attention span of a gnat so I tend to veer away from things that will bore me.  But I just use my common sense and that seems to keep me out of trouble.

Welcome Dave!  I had problems when I started too, but found my way through the moderators!  They are really very helpful!

      :welcomesign;   Dave! I hope you will keep trying. I am a novice to these kinds of sites but I'm slowly getting it! :lol;
Cool you live in Stockton! My husband & I used to live in Manteca. We lived (and worked) at the old Oakwood Lake
Resort, the waterslide park.
