Well we gotta new FA, and let's say he's um interesting. The other day I asked him a question so he comes over and answers it then he says "You know I will take care of my little buddy." then starts touching me inapropriatly by rubbing my shoulders and putting his hands on me. Then when I was in the waiting room to wait to be picked up to go home he did the same thing. I told one of the techs and she said he ran his fingers through her hair and rubbed her legs. The center advised me to contact the regional manager which whom they gave me the phone number for and so I called. The lady blue me off not caring about what his actions were, just said well he's very good with dialysis, and just went on and on about how she knew him personally and how good he was. Ok well he may be good but he's on the border line of sexual harassment here, all she said was ok whenever I'd mention that. What should I do next? Should I go to the state about this or my insurance company? He makes me feel a bit uneasy.

I think any time he put his hands on me I'd scream at the top of my lungs, forcefully wrench myself out of his grasp and give him a wide-eyed look of shock and horror. That ought to cut it out REAL fast.

Contact Medicare, state, local police, state police, till someone can give you an answer or you find someone else that's over the regional manager who will listen and do something. What the company doesn't want is bad press, so when talking to a rep with the company, ask them what do you have to do to get something done, go to the police and fill out a report?

     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye

Creepy stuff. Whew...
I do remember when i was 20 and about to get my 1st transplant. My doc wanted me to get my gallbladder take out. I had small gallstones.
Anyway... I was sent to this surgeon and during the first visit he was professional and everything but as I was getting ready to leave his office he mentioned (out of the blue) that he drove a Porsche. I was just like "Whatever"
Then as i was waiting in pre-op the guy come over to me and asks if I am nervous...I told him no and he just starts stroking my cheek and telling me not to be nervous. VERY creepy!

I would tell the guy that him touching all over you makes you uncomfortable. I don't like people touching me like that unless we share a close relationship. I've had to set a few people straight when it comes to stuff like that....one being the UPS guy.

Yea, I agree with GCM and Bsky69, just confront him about it and tell him to please not do it again or else!  He may not really realize that he is making you uncomfortable. 
When Im at work, Iam always saying honey, dear, darling ect.... and there is a guy that comes in and I say stuff like that to him and he treatened to tell my husband if I didnt do "ugly things" with him.  Well I know where this guy works, so I went down to his place of employment and asked him if I could have a minute of his time! He nodded yes, and was like salavating with excitement and followed me to my car outside with very dark tinted windows. Now on the way out, I was honey this and that with him, and opened my car door and "surprise" there sat my Husband!

I said to him, " here is my husband, J. Didnt you have something you wanted to tell him?"  The guy has never been back in to where I work!
Case and point, he may not really mean anything by it, and then again he might, I would let him know first, before taking it a step higher!
Just my take on the situation!

If you seriously want to follow through on this, write a letter, including the comments from the regional manager. Send it certified mail with a return receipt to the head office.
If you're worried about repercussions, ask the manager or head nurse for an appointment and let them know you are uncomfortable and if it does not stop you will write a letter, above.
Sometimes you just have to be direct. Stand up and look him in the eye and say "touch me again and you'll regret it. I am serious."
Hmmm maybe just pepper spray him. Or get lmunchkins hubby to wait outside in the car!

gawd isn't D enough to worry about without having to freak out about being felt up...where do they find these techs??  :waiting;

July 27, 2010 Started dialysis for the first time ever.
June 21, 2011 2nd kidney nonrelated living donor
September 2013 Liver Cancer tumor.
October 2013 Ablation of liver tumor.
Now scans every 3 months to watch for new tumors.
Now Status 7 on the wait list for a liver.
How about another decade of solid health?

Is he just one of those annoying people who can't help but get into your personal space?  I can't stand people like that.  I think that maybe the next time he touches you in what seems to be an inappropriate manner you MUST ask him not to. If it still doesn't stop then you need to take it further.  If he's a friend of the Regional Manager then go higher! 

Will the tech make a complaint too?  The centre obviously feel you should pursue this because they gave you the number to ring, but if you're the only person doing anything about it it may backfire on you. 

Btw, what is an FA?

I do hope it gets sorted though ... it's not a nice thing to be made to feel so uncomfortable.

an FA is what they refer to as the dialysis center adminastrator.
My neph and practitioner are going to contact the regional manager as well.
When he was listening to me yesterday I was like that better be all you do.
