G'day redrider & welcome to IHD!

I understand you're heading down an uncertain path now with the upcoming start of dialysis and what that will mean for you. Hopefully being part of our community can help you through it a little as we're a place to ask questions, get support from folks who have "been there, done that" and just a place to vent!

I never knew my grandfathers (on either side) as they passed away when I was very young. I do know though that it must be very precious to you to have that special bond with your grandkids, and I can assure you dialysis and kidney disease won't get in the way of that, and indeed "the big D" will help you keep up with them and have many years with them yet.

Again, welcome to IHD!

Hi Rerider and welcome to our group!   :welcomesign;  I am a grandmother to 4 and they are the best things that ever happened to me.  I always say "grandkids fill a place in your heart you never knew was empty".
