If you are in such pain that you are unable to shower, then you definitely should stay out of work and apply for SSDI right away.  I feel as though they make rules like that just because a few of the 'bad eggs' take advantage of the system and collect benefits while they still are able to work/are working.  I actually learned a lot about how to be awarded benefits as well as the entire SSDI application process at www.socialsecurity-disability.org

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.

I think this person should be banned, I think they are looking for customers. Both their post have been very unusual.

I work part time, and I'm on SSDI do to blindness, not renal failure to be exact

May 13, 2009, went to urgent care with shortness of breath
May 19, 2009, went to doctor for severe nausea
May 20, 2009, admited to hospital for kidney failure
May 20, 2009, started dialysis with a groin cath
May 25, 2009, permacath was placed
august 24, 2009, was suppose to have access placement but instead was admited to hospital for low potassium
august 25, 2009, access placement
January 16, 2010 thrombectomy was done on access
