Going through life tied to a chair!

« on: January 15, 2007, 08:07:21 PM »

My contract with Remax expired yesterday.  You would not believe how many calls this morning I have received from realtors wanting the listing.  The first guy I told the whole saga to; about how my last realtor lived too far away and bal bla.......  The next guy made me mad because I could now see a pattern.  Those vultures just wanted a new listing they weren't interested other than that.

So, now I've been having fun.  I'm doing the honey draws more flies than vinegar.  I say "hello" in a sweet voice and then after they give me their speal I say "You know Gary (Scott, Eto, Sumandar, Jarome, etc...) I have already picked someone this time, but if you show my home a few times within the next 90 days then I'll pick you if it doesn't sell" In a very sweet voice.  A couple of people have caught on and just cut me short, but more than a few have said "I will really try and I hope you sell your home."  now maybe they are feeding me a line as well.  WHAT A GAME Real Estate is.

Nothing.  There are so many foreclosures in Sacramento that I think the market will bust.

Sometimes people advertise that they buy houses for resale. Have you given any thought to that or will they not pay enough of what you need to get out of your property. What's your next step?
