Yes care givers, it can happen. On occassion. For an hour. Well, maybe 1/2 hour to be honest lol. Just kidding. When you're feeling like your on over load try to remember that a break is coming your way. It will and it will be unexpected. Now it may not be the entire but enough to give yourself & your mind a break. Sort of like a mental "cap nap". Thinking of you guys. I know how hard it is. Sometimes I don't know what to say, or say correctly, to those of yougoing through muchharder times than I. Just know I am thinking of you. Carolyn

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

3/1993: Diagnosed with Kidney Failure (FSGS)

Born with autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease
1995 - AV Fistula placed
Dec 7, 1999 cadaver transplant saved me from childhood dialysis!
10 transplant years = spleenectomy, gall bladder removed, liver biopsy, bone marrow aspiration.
July 27, 2010 Started dialysis for the first time ever.
June 21, 2011 2nd kidney nonrelated living donor
September 2013 Liver Cancer tumor.
October 2013 Ablation of liver tumor.
Now scans every 3 months to watch for new tumors.
Now Status 7 on the wait list for a liver.
How about another decade of solid health?

Yes that is a new picture. Richard you're gonna gonna believe this but I have a new neighbor who is a big manager for Starbucks! lol. But don't fret honey....nothing beats yours. WhenI drink it, I can tatse all the TLC! xoxo  Looking to duplicate the break again today for sure!

It is lovely to have a nice day or even a nice hour when nothing can get you down. I just pass out after drinking a few glasses of my favorite wine, Galvo I have to drink Australian white BANROCK nothing else beats this. Tex I am drinking one now.

Well it lookslike the excellent day has ended. My step nephew has been reffered to an oncoligst. We we re at his yncle's side for 18 months in the cancer center when he passed 4 months ago. His other uncle was the first one to pass with similst symstems, Swollen lymph nodes in neck the size of golf balls. low ehite blood cell count low platets. That's too oung 17.
