 :'( :'(  I had labs done this morning and less than an hour ago I get a calll from my transplant clinic saying that my creatinine was up to 2.8 ,  my H&H was really low and that there was protien in my urine.  And that they were going to have to put me back in the hospital for a few days. I felt like someone took all the air out of my sails.   :'(
I felt completely defeated. They even told me they had a bed waiting for me.
I was driving home to get my netbook and a pillow for my stay. My doctor called me and said they hadn't gotten my prograf level back yet. He said if my prograf level was high then they would just lower my dose and check me again by Monday or tuesday....with NO hospital stay. Whew! :pray;   BUT he said if my prograf level was good and me with a high creatinine level then thats bad and they would have to put me in the hospital.
So...I am waiting on his phone call and prey that they only want to drop my prograf level.  :pray;

Let's keep that good thought!

There is no need to "borrow trouble" as my mother used to say. Soooooo, until you have other news, it is just some left over from that UTI. This is what I am hoping for. Something that you don't need to really worry about and will take care of itself or the docs can easily handle. I am continuously amazed at the powers of modern medicine.

I am trying to keep it positive. I just called a co-worker to let her know what is happening. My bosses already know. I joked with her about me complaining earlier this week about how I needed a vacation....I joked "God...I didn't mean it like this!!"  ;D

Be careful what you wish for.

Sorry to hear Brightsky. Hope it's just a med change and some fluids. At least you have time to prepare to go in is a positive spin on things. Now you will have your netbook, pillow and extra clothes and toiletries than using hospital issued.
