Hey everyone,
My name is Sam . I reside in the British Virgin Islands, but originally from Barbados. I am the daughter of  bajanne2000. And unfortunately the apple didn't fall too far from that tree. Therefore  I am not responsible for any bad behavior displayed.  ;)just kidding. I am currently studying Psychology, and I am the proud mother of a 3 year old prince. He is the reason I'm back in college at 23; he's my motivation and also the motivation of my mother.

Well, I am not good at the introduction thing, but just a few things about me. I love to swim, and anything to do with the water, maybe because i am an Aquarius and a day short from being a Pisces. I love the theater arts: singing, dancing, drama etc. I am a kind of a jack of all trades, a master of few. lol. I worked in many areas for my kind of young age. So far i have been a foreign exchange officer at a bank, a trainee teacher, an airline agent ( yes the person people cuss out when their flights are late ;D), a dolphin trainer (BY FAR MY FAVORITE JOB :thumbup;)  and then  I was back in a bank as a sales representative, now I am back in school working on a solid career. I'm overall a very eclectic person, also in the area of music. I listen to soca, calypso, salsa, meringue, chutney, rock, African, Indian, jazz , anything with a rhythm.

How did i find out about IHD.com? Well obviously through my mother. When my mother was told she had to go on dialysis, I took it a bit hard. To me i saw it as a death sentence, seeing that my uncle died who was on dialysis. But my mother started investigating it online and found IHD.com. After which she was given new hope, which transcended to me. I loved hearing her talk about her new online family and the jokes they told. She was always telling me that i should join up but i never really thought about it. Then today i came on her computer and a forum was up. I just happened to read the comments from everyone. I laughed til i cried. I am so happy my mother has people to talk to who go through the same thing as she. This website helps her in more ways than i can. And i want to at least be a part of this.

I'm glad to be here and I wish you all a Merry Xmas, and a potassium free New Year. :-* :beer1;
Sam

Hi Sam,  (Lilbajanne)  It seems like i know you already,  your mom and i chatted many times, she truly is a Godsend.  I am happy you have decided to join and i hope you do add to the many posts some of the knowledge you have sustained while your mom has been on dialysis.  I am not sure if she has mentioned me or not but it was your mother that talked me through some difficult times and i will never forget her for that.  I know how much you and your son (Chris) mean to her, she is an awesome lady.  I look forward to hearing more from you... Have a very Merry Christmas as well :santahat; :snowman; :christmastree; :rudolph;

Just realized that I hadn't welcomed my daughter to our community.  Glad to have you, Sam!  I am always saying how great it is when loved ones take the time out to join our community, so this makes me feel especially good.  :cuddle;
I know this will help you understand a lot more of what is going on with me. :welcomesign;

Hello Sam, I'm so sorry that I'm late in welcoming you.  I was so surprised to see that you had joined.  Pleasantly surprised I might add.  I love your Mom.  She is the calm in our storm.  Sounds like you are one motivated young lady.  You study hard and take care of your little prince.  Maybe when you graduate you can help me "Psychologically."  !!
