So, we're barly getting started on the NxStage daily training, and wondering that IF Kiaser eventually offers nocturnal, how hard is that transfer over as far as training??

Not sure about the nocturnal for nxstage. We use a fresinius 2008K and only difference in short daily and nocturnal is pump sped, heparin rate and the way we tape the needles in.  No big deal at all.

Thanks Del..  We shall see how we do with this.  Im pretty sure it's going to work for us as we're both very into doing it.  Right now, the daily seems to be the way to go but im surely open to the nocturnal if its offered to us as well.  Thanks again  :)

  I have kaiser too....  I have been working on nocturnal  ( Nstage ) for about 8 months....    I have Kaiser and my Doctor approval....its all been the clinic.....   DSI.....  here in Portland Oregon.... they have been draging their feet on getting the heparin pump.... I have the correct cartridges and everything else.... I have even told them what pump.... they keep telling me that it is ordered .....  I will be the first person to do noctural  at this clinic and I think Kaiser  Portland area  using Nxstage.... but I am still waiting.. its suppose to be here next week.... I will keep you informed.....
