I don't believe there is a class divide in Australia,

So the 'winging pom' is not a class?   :laugh:

Whinging Poms are the dregs of the British population who have chosen to emigrate to Australia. They emigrate because they have not progressed in the UK since they have a bad attitude to work and hence are somewhat down & out.

For some unknown reason they expect our former penal colony to offer better opportunities than the UK. When they get there, they find the natives are no more willing to wipe their arses (metaphorically) than their indigenous compatriots in the UK. So they whinge (i.e. grumble) to everyone about their hard luck, attributed to everyone but themselves.

Does this sound about right Galvo?  :rofl;

LOL - can we ship you some of ours from the States, too?  Those are cross-cultural, but we call them welfare cheats here, when we're being polite at least.

ahhh... Welfare cheats.. or Welfare Queens, I know... I actually know a few generational ones. They know how to cheat the system, and teach the cheats to their kids, who then cheat the system.. and the cycle continues...
