SEC!!!
LSU vs Tennessee - how about that ending - 13 men on the field (not 11, not 12, but 13!)  :rofl;

#1 Alabama vs #7 Florida - At the half it has been pretty one-sided. I have emotional ties to both teams so, happily, I don't really care who wins. But I am still hoping for a better game.
GO GATORS!!! ROLL TIDE!!!

(I am from the northeast (NJ) where professional sports is the thing. I never understood the attraction of college sports until I moved to the the southeast, home of the SEC - THE BEST CONFERENCE IN THE COUNTRY!!!)

Tearing down goalposts against UGA = Pathetic!
Still a Dawg, although an unhappy Dawg.

Tearing down goalposts? What did I miss?

27-29 Sounds like it was a good game, a nail biter. What is UGA doing letting a non-SEC team beat up on them?

Hey PVUgrad, I think we're playing the Dawgs at the end of the month. My apologies, but I will be hoping that you'll be unhappy then too!

(What is PVU?)

WOOT! FINALLY a win, UGA 41-14 UT!  :clap;

Are you a "Gator" fan Harris as that is who we play on Oct 30th. And speaking of the Gators, how about that last minute TD by LSU. The SEC is certainly crazy this year...

AND South Carolina upsetting #1 'Bama!! LOVE THAT!

The Gators (and therefore NOT FSU), and the Tide (and therefore NOT Auburn), and the Vols so needless to say, I am hurting this weekend. Congrats to your Dawgs.

What the heck happened with the SEC this weekend???

UF/LSU was a good game (bad outcome, but they stayed close the whole way). Fake field goal  :'( but very entertaining.

I think Les Miles must have a lucky rabbit foot in his pocket!  :o
That is twice in 2 weeks he squeaked out a win.

I don't care what people say, in the SEC you are beating each other up every weekend unlike some of these other cake walk divisions.

I just dropped Johnny and a friend off at the USC/Portland game at Los Angeles Coliseum. I hope it's a good game.

Well at least we became bowl eligible, but a SAD season at 6-6.

And too bad Boise lost...

Now to watch the SECC game this weekend and hope that Steve Spurrier and the Gamecocks can bring down those thugs at AwBurn!

You are absolutely correct.  We play football and you play soccer.
I am glad that is settled.  Now if you have any more thoughts on the subject start a soccer thread!  :rofl;

C'mon guys, it is one small world! All the more to enjoy.

Football, soccer, Australian rules football - they all add a pleasurable diversion to the everyday. We especially enjoyed having this year's World Cup matches to watch while at dialysis as did RichardMel and countrymen/women with the AFL Grand Final (twice) - not just your ordinary days at dialysis. For us, McD's was so heavily advertised that we declared a "Breakfast Mundial" of a sausage/egg McMuffin with chocolate milk and celebrated each match at dialysis that way (and watched the dietician's face blanch - yet another sporting event.) Something special and different.

And now, the college bowl games! Go Gators, Roll Tide! I cannot believe that their respective bowls are being played simultaneously. Later folks, both games have kicked off!

As it turns out, there was only one game - UF vs Penn State. Sloppy but exciting until the end.

Alabama's Crimson Tide washed Michigan State away. Too bad.

How about the Sugar Bowl??? I never did really decide who to root for because I like the Buckeyes, but rooting against the SEC is tough.

Ohio Buckeye, I was surely thinking of you all game long. I know you enjoyed the game and I'll bet the reception is fantastic where you are!
