I am the daughter of a dialysis patient. My father has been having dialysis 3X week for about 14 months now. His fistula operation went very wrong and they ended up taking it out. He is now using a port, but clotting is occasionally a problem. He will be 80 this year. I have questions but will ask them in another location.

Thank you everyone. I have learned a great deal from all of you by reading this site. I was able to remedy my father's anxiety attacks with valium due to discussion on this site. He never had an anxiety attack in his life. He had no idea what was happening to him. He just knew he wanted off the machine. That layer is handled now due to this site.
