While we were walking last night Gregory commented "sometimes I still have dialysis dreams".  What did he mean?  He meant that when he first got his transplant, for awhile afterward, he would have really detailed realistic dreams that he was back on dialysis.  He says when he woke up, he would check his arm to be sure that it wasn't true.   I guess when you think about it, probably you would have dreams like that.  Would you?  Have you ever dreamed you were on dialysis?

I have never dreamed im on dialysis.  The real thing is plenty.

But with that said i totally see where he is coming from.  it was a part of his daily/weekly routine and it is now gone. (thank god).   I have dreams of things that have happened to me that were not part of a routine but every now and then i still wake up from these dreams.  So i can see dreaming sometimes of him still being on dialysis.  Has to be good to wake up with no needles in his arm im sure.  But while in dream state im sure he is hating it all over again.
