Yea, sometimes the camera people lose him and don't stay on the ball (like now, 10:31am EST) but keep on checking back - he's often tussling with his mom (she has a lot of patience), or somersaulting around, or hanging in trees in odd positions, and if you see him, it's really worth it!

That is from a Bugs Bunny Cartoon.

Yeah but I think Bugs Bunny did it first in a cartoon with the abominablebleble snow creature.  The snow creature grabs Daffy Duck and say:  I love the Bunny rabbit, I will love him, and kiss him, and stroke him, and I will call him George.  I will stroke his feathers.  Hey bunnies don't have feathers.  And then they do a chase scene.

And by now you are saying that woman has flipped her lid.  Oh well.

Cattitude

An 80 pound panda eats about 60 pounds of bamboo a day - so they do seem to do nothing but eat and sleep!

Hmm. . .I've got a cat like that, come to think of it.

Yeah, they eat about 60 lbs. a day, and most of it is indigestible (which is why they have to eat so much of it), and then the indigestible part comes out looking almost like it did going in!  That's a lot of stuff to have to clean up!

Glad you're getting to see the little guy!

I live in the DC area and saw that baby panda.  Too cute for words.  I'm addicted to pandas.

My husband and I went to the San Diego Zoo a couple of years ago and got a great snapshot of a mother panda playing with her baby.  If I can figure out how to downsize the .jpg file (my previous attempt was a disaster, and Epoman let me know it... LOL), I'll post it here.  It really is something.

Isn't it amazing how animals bring the human race together sometimes?  China was so gracious to lend us the pandas, and people seem gravitate to them like nothing else.  Animals are better than people.

Okay, I'll get off that soapbox now :)))  and work on downsizing the panda picture.

I THINK I got the panda mom-and-baby picture from the San Diego Zoo small enough to post.

Epoman, when I click on the photo in Paint and ask for its attributes, it says it's 432 x 390 pixels and 57 KB.  I hope that'll be okay.  And I hope I did this right.
