I am the only member or guest here right now.  I have never seen that before.  Everyone else must have a life    :rofl;    There are always others here.  I am feeling very lonely.

I see that sometimes late at night.  You need to get some sleep Paris.

Going through life tied to a chair!

« Reply #3 on: May 22, 2010, 06:15:24 PM »

I'm here.  But not for long.  I just pop in sometimes to see if there is anything going on.  I'm lonely too but at home.  I don't know my neighbors very well yet so I just sit here.

It was just the first time in all my time here, that no one else was online.  It seemed strange to be alone.  It probably will never happen again.

You are not alone Paris. We are all in this together, even if we aren't online at the moment.

That's the beauty of this forum for me...when one feels all alone, IHD is here to remind us that the truth is absolutely otherwise.  We may not be speaking of the particular feeling in a real time kind of way at the exact same moment but the same things are being felt or have been felt and understood by others, present or not.
Paris, please always remember how much you are admired, respected and cared about by others.  You ought never to feel alone by which I mean that when you do, please remember that this is simply a momentary distortion of reality, a trick that your feelings are playing on you.  I carry this community (and even ESRD patients I've never known) in my head at all times.

It happened again in the middle of the night.  It really looks odd to see "members online" and just see my name.  I thought maybe Galvo or Richard would be here   :2thumbsup;    Maybe if I would sleep instead of being awake at all odd hours of the night, I would find more people here!     :rofl;    Right now, there are lots of members online.     :2thumbsup;   :2thumbsup;

And in "real" life - most of my moments are filled with people around ~ maybe too many some days!

I hope to sleep soon. My daughter, home from college, is next to me on my bed, watching American Idol endless finale, so I am happy in this moment. It's late, but i can always count on my girls, Mimi and Jean, to be on IHD late at night!

I sit up all night most times, so quite frequently I am online with nobody but me. ::)
