Hello all, I have a non-related living donor who is a 1 antigen match. The crossmatch was good also. So far all the tests for him has been good. Maybe some of you can answer this, how successful can a 1 antigen match kidney be? The drs. are excited and they say it doesnt matter because medicine can balance everything else out. Anyways, keep us in your prayers and ill keep you all updated.

Good for you, George.

0/6 match from a living donor is better than 6/6 match from a deceased donor. So I would take the 1/6 living donor match. The match of Dr antigens are better than the match of A or B pairs.
