Well Hello. My name is Sue. I am a 33 year old mom of three. I that landed me 9 year old twins and a 15 year old. I was diagnosed in 2006 with ESRD. I began hemo and shortly after PD. I have endured several surgeries since then including the placement of a Shiley cath and peritoneal cath, I had most of my parathyroids removed and had wounds debreided during a six month hospital stint for calciphylaxis. I also suffered seizures that landed me in ICU.
I am currently awaiting transplant at MGH. I would love to hear from others in my shoes. I wish everyone the best of luck.
Sue

Hi Sue,
Man, that's a lot to go through for such a young woman and I am sure your experience is valuable to other members on the forum. I hope things stableize for you and you get a kidney soon. I'll bet those kids keep you busy!
Welcome!
