The last thing I want to read about is "Love Birds" on dialysis.  I have to put up with Angie and Sandsman as it is.

 ;D :lol;

I read that and burst out laughing.  Thanks for the laugh Rerun.

Well for those of you who are against the dating section, don't worry I have already started building the new site, In fact I have already spent about 12 hours working on it and it is looking quite nice. It will be totally separate from IHD.com so those who are not interested can stay clear. And those who are indeed interested will have a whole site dedicated to them. I have already purchased the domain name and as I said have most of the site complete and it will be launched soon.

Now, I will be needing some "single" members and some "married" members to help me write some posts on advice and some articles that I have ideas for. The site has a lot of potential and I think this can be a very valuable service to many. If are willing to help me please post here that you are interested and I will send you a PM with the sites address, so you can register and start posting.

- Epoman

On this note I think it only complements the IHD.com family of sites and will be beneficial.

Ok, nevermind.  I figured it out. The link you gave me, you didn't put the .com part on it.  So I retyped it with .com and it works just fine.    :lol;

I do like the idea of having it separate from the IHD site.  Anything that brings people together is a good idea, I think.

  I think this site is very necessary and am glad you started it, Epoman.   I am so very thankful that I developed ESRD after finding the man of my dreams.  Cannot imagine how difficult it must be for those of you who are single and wanting to find that special someone to share your life with!  ::) So, don't be shy, step right up, state your name, rank, serial....no, wait that is for something else all together...  Just your 'handle' will do , along with your interests, hobbies, bad habits , baggage :-X um, your good traits...something like that.  We don't bite here, might nibble a bit if you get out of line,  but definitely no biting!  Hope you make many 'connections' here and maybe even that special connection, like angie and sandman!  Good luck!   ; )

I think the link hasn't been made public yet (am I right about this?).

As for Sandman and I meeting after I already started dialysis .. yes I think that site is a great idea because I remember thinking I would never find someone who would stay with me dispite my health and ALSO be the right one for me. I thought after tings with Jay and I ended after a year simply because I had gotten so weak that no one would ever want me!

I still can't believe Sandman wanted to take a chance on me even after last years 6week incident in the hospital! Now Jeff goes to dialysis with me when he is in town and everything and just proposed to me earlier this month!

He proved to me that even on dialysis that we can STILL find true love! NEVER GIVE UP!!  :grouphug;
