Thank you all for the supportive messages. I was *very* surprised to get the kind request to join the team a week or so ago and spent a bit of time pondering the question - weighing up what I could contribute as a mod, or even if I should - in the end I decided to give it a go - to help out the moderation team where I could - when you have guys like Karol and Sluff who work damn hard to keep things going if I can do a little bit to take some load off that would be good to help. Plus me being in a totally different timezone to you other guys I thought that might also help to add some coverage to when the US side is asleep(though I am not sure Karol ever sleeps!!! ). As for the flirting and stuff... hey you can't keep a good man down - plus I most certainly would have any mod hat OFF when I'm flirting so that's all good!! I just want to contribute to the site and help keep it a great place. Not interested in causing disputes or problems for members. Hopefully anything I do will be invisible to most people (except the odd formatting fix up, or that sort of thing) so... basically carry on as usual. Anyway initially I have a lot to learn so I won't be jumping into anything!!!

Welcome ,Richard, to the dark side!! I am so excited you accepted! If I can't have you for a son in law, or adopt you, this is the next best thing. You know how much I admire your kind, gentle heart and your willingness to always reach out to everyone. I hope you enjoy the paycheck that goes with this job!
