Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: December 28, 2009, 10:41:20 AM »

TO all those to whom these presents may come, reasonable wishes are offered for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral, winter solstice holiday, practised within the most joyous traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, but with respect for the religious persuasion of others who choose to practice their own religion as well as those who choose not to practice any religion at all.
Additionally, a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated perseveration of the calendar year 2010, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures, whose contributions have helped make our world great, without regard to the race, creed, colour, religious or sexual preferences, of the wishees.

Disclaimer: This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal.
It implies no promise by the wisher actually to implement any of the wishes for himself or others and accepts no responsibility for any unintended emotional or other stress these greetings may bring to those not caught up in the holiday spirit, or to those who fail to receive any of the benefits wished for them, or that they themselves wish for.

In this context, felicitations to all.

[I post this most years!! This is particularly for those who have not seen it before]

I am not sure what to think, say, or write about Christmas & New Year because
when I realized how badly I had been misused & exploited as a guinea-pig for NHS-medical research/experiments
& no humanitarian protection and no real NHS-health-care to protect my life,
I applied to the Health Commission to be registered with a NHS-GP/Rheumatologist/Nephrologist
with Medical Integrity who honours the Christian Values set up in the original NHS-concept of 1948.

I never received a reply to my application from Lord Warner (NHS-reform)...

There was no help but a reply from Miss Warner (Health Commission and Dr. Harold Weinstock (also Health Commission) informing me in very strong words that a GP/Rheumatologist/Nephrologist with Medical Integrity and Christian Values does not exist in the NHS.

Reading this letter from Miss Warner and Dr. Harold Weinstock came as a shock, because I thought the NHS was set up in 1948  to honour Christian Values & as a “crowning glory of the welfare state of Britain” with a promise of an equal, high quality humanitarian Health Service for everyone, and here I am in ESRF caused by an untreated Lupus/SLE/MCTD-flare-up and I have no NHS-GP/Rheumatologist/Nephrologist to go to for medical help.

I then wrote a letter to the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, informing him I was told by Dr. Harold Weinstock of the NHS-Health Commission & there is no NHS-doctor with Medical Integrity & there are no Christian Values honoured in the NHS & I am in ESRF without any NHS-GP/Rheumatologist/Nephrologist to go to & my kidneys only work 10%... I have not received an answer and no help ...

I then wrote to the Defender of the Faith, Head of State, Queen of England, including copies of letters & explaining Dr. Weinstock's letter as I understand it & explaining my situation in ESRF without NHS health-care...I have not received an answer and no help either...

From these experiences I have concluded that perhaps there are no existing Christian Values and therefore perhaps there is no Christmas ...

Going through life tied to a chair!

Faith is something believed in and not seen.  The Bible says things will get worse not better.  I feel that no matter how mistreated I am here and no matter my suffering I look foreward to the day I walk with the Lord.

Just cement your own Christian values and let the others end up where they may.

I am sorry, Rerun, I do not comprehend what you are saying...

The NHS health-care was set up in 1948 with Medical Integrity, the Hippocratic-oath & Christian Values as priorities.

The NHS was originally set up so everyone could see a NHS-doctor & health-care was independent of income & social standing & poor people were allowed to have access to medical services.

The central Christian Values were clear: the NHS was originally set up to be available to all and financed entirely from taxation, which means that people pay into it according to their means and poor people were allowed to have access to medical services.

What do you mean when you say that the Bible says things will get worse and not better?
