$600.00 for registration?  And what do you get for that?
What is their success rate?

Sounds to me more of a scam than anything else.

I think livingdonorsonline.org is a much more reputable organization.

I had asked my doc a while back and he felt that something like that would attract people just looking for money and string you a long.  And the more hopeful you get they will start making more demands because they know how desperate you are.  I'm not saying it hasn't worked for for someone, but I think those people are few and far between.  Something like this is to emotional to have people that aren't sincere get your hopes up.

Not to say if you have a friend or acquaintance that makes an offer will always follow through but at least your know they're doing it from the bottom of their heart and not their wallet.

If given the chance in conversation with anyone you meet, I'd let them know whats going on and you never know who may step up!!

:rant;...For those of you who think Matchingdonor.com is a scam...IT IS NOT....I joined today for only $49.00 for a trial period of 7 days and got results immediately....The second call I made we have a potential donor...I talked to the person he is very excited as we are....nothing is 100% positive....but sure hope this one is....so for those of you who need a kidney...believe me...it's worth a shot....they give you a list of donors as soon as you join and you start contacting them....The first lady I called ...she apolized and said she was aready commited to give one and the second call I made...said he was ready....and we are 3000 miles away....Good luck to all...

Pistoltart, I am really interested to hear more about your experiences with matchingdonor.com.  What do you say to the potential donor when you call them?  What did you say in the profit you posted online?  Please tell us more!  Are you sure your transplant center will accept a donor acquired in this manner?

3000 miles away,  hmmmmm.  North, South, East or West and from where???  It is 3000 miles west coast to east coast across the US.

My guess is south, down in some Central American country.  El Salvador, Nicaragua. Anyone look up his IP?

Matching donors is mostly a SCAM! They give you NO help and it's just like putting an ad in the paper. The donors can simply DELETE their price at ANY time if they get scared or cold feet! I sent out around a 1000 messages over 3 years and got ONE person to get tested but she was ruled out for medical reasons. I had HUNDREDS just LIE and DECEIVE you! They guy who runs it is an evil demon who yells and curses!
