Peeing blood (asking for my sister)

My sister had a transplant 1 year ago and yesterday started peeing blood. She had a hysto so it isn't her menses.
She has PKD and didn't have any falls or hard bumps. They did a UA and Ultrasound.
She is freaking out and so am I. My sister never had any CT's prior to her transplant and I am terrified that she has cancer in her native PKD kidneys or in the transplanted one. I always think the worst.
Please share your peeing blood stories, good or bad. Thank you

I have no experience with that, but am sorry she is going through this. I'm sure she has already called her transplant team and they will get on it ASAP! Prayers for your sister. I hope it's nothing serious!!!!!

I have PKD also and have been told that you can pass blood if a cyst ruptures. I believe a urinary tract or bladder infection can also cause the blood. Her transplant team should find out what's going on asap.
