He just turned 19 and is a freshman in college.  He is a great kid, involved in everything. Plays in the orchestra, is in the college choir--just a multi-talented guy.  He lives in his hometown (John Glenn's hometown) and tonight he was elected to the town council!  He was one of 5 running; all the others much older and more experienced.  But, Jordan WON!  By only 23 votes.  I am very proud of him tonight.  It is a four year term and gives him a small salary that will come in handy.  He just called me and he sounded so excited.  Oh to be 19 and have the whole world in front of you.   :2thumbsup;     I would have never had the courage to try anything like this.  So very proud and excited.

How I envy your nephew!  To have the world in your hands.  To know it all.

My greatly beloved nience when she turned 19 came for a week long visit.  During that week she started every sentence she spoke with"You know what you should do?"

I finally lost it with a rant of "No, I am 45 years old and havent the foggiest idea of what to do.  Thank God I have a 19 year old, fresh out of high school here to tell me!"

Well after tears and apologies she finally forgave her mean old uncle!
