On October 13th, it finally happened the phone rang and the nurse said we have a kidney match for you. Wow it has been truly a remarkable experience. I stayed in Icu over night, admitted to the floor the following day and released a week later. Now I have blood work and clinic Mon wed and friday. I am having trouble with my blood pressure but that would be it. It shot up 2 1/2 weeks after the transplant. the Dr. says it's the meds and I may have to take bp meds, small price to pay for this miracle. I am 20 days free of dialysis. I think I'm still in shock!!! :bandance;
