When I was growing up my parents always gave me a diary for Christmas. So one year I said to my brother that I knew what I was getting and told him I was getting a diary. He told my parents that I knew what I was getting without sharing that I had surmised I was getting a diary from past experience.

So in addition to the regular gifts, I got a whipping for peaking. My brother was an expert at getting me in trouble.

Uh-oh, Richard.  Dan called you middle aged.   I am going to sit back and wait for your reply.  This should be good!  LOL

My pretty present is sitting with me. It makes me happy just to look at it.  Of course, there are lots of black lines through the labels on it!    AlohaBeth did keep the return address, but only she knows who it is.   :santahat;

I got a present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    :clap;    :bandance;     :2thumbsup;    :yahoo;

AlohaBeth answered the door when the mailman delivered it.  Since we have the same name, she signed for it. Then she realized it had to be my Secret Santa gift------so she quickly blacked out things on the box, so I would have no idea who or what the box involved!  Now I have a lovely box sitting here full of possiblities!   For six weeks, I will touch it, look at it but I will not peek!    I am so excited!  Thank you Secret Santa!    :cuddle;    :cuddle;    :cuddle;   :santahat;

You got your present already?!?!  Holey Moley, someone is a super shopper!

Last year I accidently looked at the slip GRRRR!!  I won't this year.  When it arrives I'll not even look at it!!  Just put it in the back of the tree!!

That's the problem with those international shipments.  We need SS present interceptors!

Hey, if you've given your address for the Secret Santa do you think it would be OK for Grammalady to give it to someone else that didn't get you, but would like to send a little something?  Probably not eh?  It just seems nicer to be able to send a little present without having to spoil it but asking for an address first.  What do people think?

I think that's a lovely idea, Hanify...

I'd certainly have no objections!... Just send me a nice hunky guy.... You needn't gift wrap him... I'll take him as he comes!.... :rofl;

I'm about to send mine.  Are we supposed to put our name on the outside, or is it a surprise (the sender) until opened???
