Well today was the best day so far ! They pulled off some more extra fluid and i had a fantastic nurse , who explained lots to me and step by step what she was doing. As far as questions go shes said ..ask away ! What a difference it makes when you get treated decently ! Ive also had an hour with the therapist today , so probably got a lot off my chest of the stuff ive been bottling up. Shes going to have a few more sessions with me and see what help she can be to me. Thanks to you all for helping me through these past few days , no doubt im going to need you all again xxx Edited: Fixed error in subject line - okarol/admin

Pyelonephritis (began at 8 mos old) Home haemo 1980-1985 (self-cannulated with 15 gauge sharps) Cadaveric transplant 1985 New upper-arm fistula April 2008 Uldall-Cook catheter inserted May 2008 Haemo-dialysis, self care unit June 2008 (2 1/2 hours X 5 weekly) Self-cannulated, 15 gauge blunts, buttonholes. Living donor transplant (sister-in law Kathy) Feb. 2009 First failed kidney transplant removed Apr. 2009 Second trx doing great so far...all lab values in normal ranges
