Dipyridamole for phosporous leak

Has anyone taken this for a phosphorous leak.? I have a parathyroid ademona and my Nephrologist wants me to try this instead of surgery. I am torn because I have read that removing the ademona may lead to reduction of kidney function. My creatinine is really good right now. It ranges from .8-1.1. My intact PTH has come down to 88 after my calcitrol dose was doubled. At times I have terrible pain. I think my PTH numbers flucuate quite a bit. Dipyridamole is a blood thinner used in patients that have had valve replacements. An off label use is to raise phosporous. Any thoughts? I am going next week for a Dexa scan and x-ray of my shoulder.

I am clueless on this one, maybe Zach, our iron man will come up with something. In the meantime, best of luck to you. This is a wonderful thing to deal with, isn't it?

I am waiting for my doctor to get back to me. He was consulting with transplant as far as what to do. I am achy most of the time. Before it was only at night. Now it is during the day.
