Hello out there - my name Is David, - I'm 48 years old and I live in Richmond, Virginia and I've been on CC PD for the last three years. I am just so damn lucky !!!!! Five years ago, I found out that I had throat cancer and that I would have to have my voice box removed. I made it through that and after a year of recovertry - I returned to work. Six months later its off to the emergency room because I was coughing up water. No one knows why my kidneys failed but they did. I mean I can't speak and I can't take a leak - would you be in a good mood?  :lol;

My family - three OLDER sisters ( they'll love that ) and one older brother - all right out of a Fruit Loops box and my partner of 25 years helped me through all this. I am greatfull for them and all their help and support as I find my way through the world of kidney failure. I have to say I LOVE my doctor and nurses and the support staff at my clinic. It is truly a world full of crazies that I do not belong in....... :banghead;

My father, who also lives in Richmond, just started hemodialysis yesterday (10/9).  The first day went okay.  Hope it keeps going that way for him.

Why were you peeing in Virginia?  Did that state do something to make you mad at it??? :welcomesign;
