Hello

Im in the UK (Worcestershire) and just gone into stage 5 due to PKD.

Just came across this site and interested in the amount of people getting together. Fantastic

Im writing a book and blog about my experiences from the day I was told I had PKD (24 years ago) to my double nephrectomy (in 8 weeks time) and (hopefully) my living donor from my mum.

Ill let everyone know the web address soon.

Cheers everyone

Welcome to our community!  And a special welcome from one born under and living under the Union Jack (born in Barbados, living in the British Virgin Islands, west Indies).
Let your mom know that donors are special heroes here at IHD.  If she is a computer person, please encourage her to join.  It would be a means of support for her as well.
You will soon find out that this is not just a website - it is a genuine caring and sharing family.  :grouphug;  You are never alone here.
So keep reading and keep posting.

Looing forward to hearing from you,
