And to all the Dads who are no longer here!
And to my special Dad, Happy Birthday, too. Yes, I'll remember to have the two sips of Jack Daniels later today -- one for Father's Day and one for your Birthday.

My youngest son (David) called me to say Happy Fathers Day. That was a treat because I was just there on Friday and he saved $30.00 cutting lawns just to take me for my favorite pizza. Not only did he earn the money himself but he hung on to the money without spending it for almost 2 weeks. - I thought that was very special.
Patton called his girlfriend today to say he hasn't started basic training yet because they lost some paperwork. I have not heard from him though.

we went to church came home and lived in the pool
my husband made hot dogs, I made crab salad and fresh fruit salad and chili and sauerkraut and cookies
and sweet tea and potato salad and green bean casserole and
hey wait a minute
my husband was supposted to do all the cooking and I made a pecan pie
and my husband got his same presents -- a knife and a wallet -- he wants that every year
