Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: September 27, 2006, 04:43:37 AM »

Well, ladies and gentlemen, this day, September 27th, 2006, marks the first anniversary of dialysis for me.  It was on this day last year that I, armed with all the help I had gleaned from this forum, embarked on this challenging 'adventure'.  I remember how apprehensive I was, and how I was helped by this site that I had only found 5 days before.
I know you guys must be tired of hearing me say it, but I am so grateful to IHD, and I have always been of the opinion that this site was particularly started just for me!  :2thumbsup;   I am so glad I found you all! :grouphug;

Congrats?   ;D  No seriously, I'm glad you've been contributing to this site for over a year now, we are lucky to have you.  Also glad you've successfully made it through 1 year of dialysis.   Here's to many more years of you on this site, and hopefully very few years on dialysis (with your new kidney in place).   :beer1;

Glad you are still here. 1 year alive with kidney failure is truly a miracle. Even though we all know it sucks, like I said, glad your still here. Many many returns, or until you think its enough. God bless you!

 :2thumbsup;  What a year of learning and sharing... We are only 3 months apart in our anniversary and I, too feel this site aided me in ways too numerous to mention.  Love your contributions, thanks for being a steady ship in a turmultuous sea!  Anja

Thank you so much for all of your kind remarks.  I went to dialysis and just to make sure that I did not have any pleasurable ideas about this kind of anniversary, I had a terrible cramp in one of my legs!
