Going through life tied to a chair!

The daycare that burned in Mexico that killed 35 and injured many more are sending their burn victims to Sacramento's Shriner's Hospital.

I would not have a problem with this except the Shriner's Hospital has had financial problems and they are threatening to close 12 across the country "one" being in Spokane.

The Shriner's help lots of children, but not everyone that comes to its door.  You have to be referred by another Shriner if your child needs help.

What do you think?  I'll try to find the news article.

I would hate to see a burned child turned away, but then again, who is paying their bills, since they are, of course, illegal ?

Shiner hospitals are supported by donations, so getting the name of the hospital in front of the media in a big event like this will be good for their bottom line.

It may get their name out there but I'm not sure it going to go over well that they are in financial problems and our opening to foreigners from a country that probably doesnt contribute to their operating costs.

Will the Mexican Government step up and pay the medical costs or will it again be born out by those in the US.
