My son is 10 years old and is going into kidney failure. We are scared to death. We belive he will have the type od dialysis at home over night. If any one has any advice for children in dialysis we could use it.

Welcome reg28enia. Sorry to hear about your son. I don't know very much about pediatric dialysis, but here is a link to a website:
http://www.meganshome.net/index.html
The website is about a little girl named Megan who lost her kidney function due to vasculitis. She was on peritoneal dialysis, the same kind you're looking at for your son, for just over a year. In May of this year she had a successful kidney transplant from her mom.
You can email her parents, they may have some advice for you. Good luck, and I'm glad you found this site.

Glad you are here! I was one of a bunch of kids that were called the Kidney Kids. So I know some of what your son might feel about being a "Kidney Kid"
I started PD at 16 but was in and out of hospital since 9

Welcome Reg28enia. I think you will find this site very helpful. You son might enjoy the Arcade Game Room. Please tell us a little more about yourself. Are you from the United States? Are you married? Just wondering how much support your son will have. Brothers and sisters??

Welcome to the site, I started dialysis at 15 and had both PD and HD. I was a bit older than your son, but feel free to ask any questions and I'm sure we can come up with the answers.
Cheers
