The latest:  Urologist was in to see Chris. He thinks something is going on with his prostrate.  More tests, more meds.  Doctor says Chris is really young for prostrate problems.  He is still nauseous and just not feeling good.   His cell charger is in his truck in the parking lot!  Wish I could go get his charger for him.    Chris said to Beth "if I was playing golf, I would probably be struck by lightening, too"   She will let us know when she hears more.   :cuddle;

Chris "Text God" Smith, that's what I am going to call him.  I've been texting too...same info as posted above.  I am sure there is someone at that hospital who can go get his charger for him.  Chicago is a long drive for me.  Hey.....what about Jess?  She is fairly close to him in location....I think.  Any other IHDers in that area?
Just trying to think outside of the box here.  We cannot allow him to be without technology...its worse than being without chocolate and would mess terribly with his psyche!

Hey guys!  Sitting at UNC with mom (she's doing great btw -- she has about two hours left and is feeling "marvi")  Just thought I would check in and give a Chris update --

At about 1am last I had a text saying he just got back from his CT and all he got out of it was a freezing butt.   ---  So at least we know his sense of humor is intact!

He has recieved the emails and he thanks everyone for them!

He says hes feeling better today but that it could be due to all the drugs :)  I asked if we needed to stage an intervention and he told me only if it's for his chocolate addiction!

And watch out RichardMel -- Chris is flirting from his hospital room -- so you better step up your game or give up now ;)

Keep the well wishes and emails coming -- I know he is grateful for this family on here.

:)
Aloha,
Beth

Thanks for the news on Chris and on your mom.  We were just wondering how things went.  Your mom is lucky to have you there with her.  You're a great daughter, and I know she appreciates you.

Thanks Beth!  Glad to hear that Mom is doing well with the treatment!  I told her not to worry!  Knew she would do fine with it.

I just got a text from "Frozen Butt Boy" who is now preparing for a little exploration of said frozen area.  We all know THAT isn't pleasant!  He does seem to be keeping his humor through this...and of course...I don't help with some of the messages I am sending him!

Currently texting with him.  He is nauseous and feeling weak.  He says the doc was in this evening, but that they had him so drugged he doesnt recall what the doc said.  Damn, I wish I lived closer...I'm good at being bossy!!!

Seems that he is quite on his own in this...sad state of affairs.  But he is still funny!

Well, I get busy with life and look what happens! Sorry to hear Chris is having troubles. Would one of you texting, tell Chris I hope the Docs are gentle with his "frozen but", and that he is in our thoughts and prayers here on this end  :thumbup;

LOL AB honey I gave up long ago. Chris is THE text and flirting king!!

I am so glad he's got his charger... now I hope things improve for him medically.. he is definitely in my thoughts as with everyone else.

Still with the hotties of IHD (Jess, Wenchie, AB and others) keeping him innundated with texts and feeding his inner flirt, that will give him extra strength to hopefully come good!! Fingers crossed!!

You go girls!

You go Chris!

Ahhhhhh flirt....no, but I am more than willing to take on the WENCHMom role.  Oh wait...I think I already did that!  I think Chris takes great comfort in knowing people care about him. (Especially those of the younger, female persuasion)!

I hope some of you that are close enough can pop in and see him.  Jess..if you do...make sure he keep his "frozen butt" covered!   LOL
