it is awesome you guys are going to visit him. that's almost as good as Beth showing up just a bow tie (oh what? he doesn't have blood pressure problems?? he will now!!
) - it is wonderful to know how much support IHD gives its family members and the effort you all go to!!

I can never understand the time difference so I'm not sure if you've been or not gone yet!! But either way I hope Chris is improving and is cheered up by knowing so many of us are rooting for him. Thanks for representing all of us Sluffbunny.

Oh wow, I'm first to put in the latest text update?
4:18pm- Sluff, Christine, Josh/Patton, and his girlfriend was just here for a surprise visit. Sluff said he'll post pics later. Docs may remove gallbladder.
I responded back saying they just don't know what's wrong with him, do they?
I just got the message you were going sluff...seems like the room would've been too full anyway!

Man, oh man, oh man! You guys are the greatest. I'm mostly a lurker here (my dad is the one on dialysis, and he's not computer-savvy or even computer-interested LOL!!), but it always amazes me to see the lengths that people here on IHD go to to support each other.

The relationships we form are hard to explain to the "outside" world. My husband had to meet some of these great people in person for him to understand how close we are. No one is just a post; we all really care for each other. And Sluff, well he has the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known. He is the quiet one you can always count on. Visiting Chris is a typical act of kindness for Sluff. I love that man with all my heart. And Chris, you know we all love you so much and what those doctors to figure things out and fix you! We need you back here with us and back in the chat room. Love you!!

I am back from my trip visiting Chris. I took my laptop along but to no avail we could not get to the forums for Chris to post. We had a wonderful visit and I know Chris understands how much we (all of you)care about him. Because of traffic it took 6 hrs to get to the hospital so it turned out to be a long day. Didn't get home until 12:30am today. It was worth the trek, to see his face once he realized who we all were. Two sunburned biker dudes and 2 pretty ladies walking in and waking him up from sleep.
I'm surprised he didn't jump up and run.

Sluff, we need an angel icon. How sweet of you and Josh to go check on Chris. He does look good and I pray that doctors figure out what is going on fast. I need to send Chris an email today. Thanks again Sluff, your a doll-baby or in your case a teddybear.

Chris and Josh look good together. Josh (Sluff's son) was at the Chicago meet last year and he was just as sweet as his Dad. He was always the first to ask if someone needed help. Chris and Josh had a good time downloading songs, ringtones, etc and hung out in Okarols room till midnight. So, Josh comes by his big heart honestly
It was a joy meeting him. Josh leaves to start boot camp soon and we are all proud of his decision to serve his country.
Back to Chris, We miss you, we miss you, we miss you
