I got my first labs back today from my new clinic and found out my kt/v is 1.9!!! Ha! And everyone kept telling me I should really have my speed and dialysate flow increased because I probably wasn't getting good enough clearances.  :Kit n Stik;  That's for all the nurses and techs who kept trying to increase them!

The other great thing (and in my opinion, was better than the kt/v thing) was I won an auction for stage front seats at U2's Chicago concert in September!!!! :guitar: :guitar: :guitar:  This is the best thing to happen to me in a long time. The only reason I bid was because my father-in-law said he would pay for tickets!  :bandance; :bandance; :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo;

U2 is an Irish rock band that has been around since 1978. They are one of the most well known bands in the world and are still producing albums and selling out stadium concerts within minutes.

If posssible, we should get together for a quick photo op when you get here.  :pics; (darn, not startled eye popping icon look)

Chris, I was going to ask you if you wanted to meet up then. The concert is a Sunday night and most likely, we'll be driving up early Sunday and leaving sometime Monday.

And shame on you for wanting to hit Bono! The band does a lot of great work trying to help others. My brother-in-law is the House Minority Leader, John Boehner's aide and was in the meeting between Bono and Boehner the other day when he was there asking for support in helping with the AIDS crisis in Africa. In fact, I got  our concert tickets by winning an auction where a portion of the winning bids goes towards this.

Here's my husband's brother, David, with Bono. Dave has an unbelievably cool job. His family's Christmas card had a photo of him and his wife with George and Laura Bush!

Sorry, but I will stick to my thought of wanting to  :Kit n Stik; on occassion.

Some of his interviews just makes me want to  :Kit n Stik; by not sticking with the subject or something. Then again, I would like to  :Kit n Stik; to many stars, so called stars, athletes, musicians, and politicians  ;D :rofl;

The concert is at Wrigley Field right? I forgot what I heard on the news. I am also planning on meeting kitkatz in June when she comes to Chicago.
