Yep, I get up in the monring and say "Hey look here I am another day!; then I read the paper and realize "Hey I am not listed in the obits section, hurray!"  Then out the door and at work it is "Here I am another day. I made it this far."  Then to dialysis:" Well one more thing and the day will be over."   Off of dialysis "Well here I am another day gone to heck and back."  Then I go to bed to do it all over again another day , hopefully.

My grandson makes me smile.

The things that make me smile are my Partner (who occasionally has the opposite effect aswell) and also my 2 devon rex cats Amber & Jester. Especially when Amber  curls up at my feet while I am on Heamo :)

Sassy, I don't know if this will help you but I wrote this thread to help new BBC users learn how to use the codes you seem to be messing up on.  Check this thread out.  Learning BBC aka: EzCode  I also wrote a similar "how to" post here as well and I feel that the second one is more detailed.

My son make me smile A LOT. He is a teenager, with loads of sense of humor. He is not only my son...he is my friend. My wife makes me smile...she is soooo serious....that is funny to make her jokes. My two stupid cats are funny also....at the end, because that's the way I am...I don't take life too seriously, otherwise I'll be crying all day. I know life is good and I want to see my grandchildren one day (ONE day...not today, though!!!)....but some days are so hard to bear.

Believe it or not Borak makes me laugh and Ali G....and sometimes people on videos at youtube. ;)

Holding hands at night with my husband as we go to sleep makes me smile.
Seeing him as I wake up beside me makes me smile.  AWWWWWW! ( aren't we cute).
Knowing I have another day ahead makes me groan, then smile. ;D

The building is a sanctuary, El Santuario de Chimayo Shrine in a tiny
town called Chimayo, NM. People come from all over the world
to take a small scoop of dirt from the floor of the chapel. The dirt
is said to have healing powers. Good place to find a miracle. But
besides that, there are the most delicious tamales at a nearby stand,
and it's a beautiful place to take pictures.
