The USPS tracking told me that both our packages were delivered!!!  That was so fast!!!  Mailed in St.Thomas VI on Monday and delivered on Wednesday!!

Well that makes up for my package which was mailed weeks ago and seems not to have arrived at it's destination yet!  I did not use tracking - live and learn! :stressed;

Still no SS package has arrived at my house, but...I did get a package in the mail today.  It was marked in big letters on the side, "I'M NOT YOUR SECRET SANTA !"

Marvin said I still had to wait until Christmas to open it, and I said, "Phooey on Marvin" and opened it anyway.  Oh, what joy and what surprise!  Willieandwinnie (Kathy) and Len sent Marvin and me a box full of goodies.  I love that Willieandwinnie!  :bow;  We got some neat stuff from Maryland -- I loved the postcards and shot glass!  The shot glass had all of the lighthouses in willieandwinnie's area -- who told her I love (absolutely LOVE) lighthouses?  I got a beautiful, beautiful silver "Maryland" bell and a hand-made, cross-stitched decoratative "Teachers Touch the Future" small pillow (that will hang on my tree and then go to school with me after Christmas to decorate my bulletin board all year long).  It was such a surprise and such a sweetness on Kathy's part.  It made my day...my week...my Christmas!  I love surprises!

Of course, today was also Marvin's birthday, and he said he thought Kathy sent the presents just for him.  I said, "Phooey on Marvin!"  Touch my teacher decoration and lose an arm -- he said, "Don't get the one with the fistula in it!"  Silly Marvin!  Sweet and precious Kathy!  :cuddle;

I have received my SS gift. Thank you, you know who you are.  :waving;

I got my SS gift today when I got home   :yahoo;  :yahoo;  :yahoo;  :yahoo;  :yahoo;  Merry Christmas to me !

No airholes... no scratching from the inside of the box... no funny smells ... no gerbil squeals of "Let me out!  Let me out!"  ...  just a box that says it came from Cypress, Texas.  I even told Hop-Sing to pretend that he's a drug-sniffing or cadaver-sniffing or ... dare I say it?  ... gerbil-sniffing hound, and then I put the box down in front of his nose.  He looked at me like "Have you lost your mind?" then turned around and went back to bed.  I'd tell you more, but the suspense is killing me... I must do some looking around here to see who's from Texas.
