Well, finally, Lilbajanne and I sent our gifts out yesterday.  We had to wait until we went to St.thomas (USVI) where we know they would reach more quickly since it is domestic mail.  We sent them Priority with tracking confirmation, and they should reach shortly.
Thank you for your patience, receivers!
Haven't got mine as yet.

I recieved mine today. It didn't say not to open, so I shook the box to see if I could hear the gerbils. I heard ssome tapping, shook it again, heard some rattling. Oh Boy I thought, I've got a case of dead gerbiles on my hand, what am I gonna do with spoiled cat food. So I opened it up and discovered I got peanuts! Peanuts everywhere. Peanuts strewn there, peanuts strewn over there, peanuts clinging to the cats in places it should not be sticking too! Low and behold, no gerbils, no dog, but wrapped Christmas presents. Cat now in the box, peanuts all over, but I did not open them yet. So out comes the cat, presents go back in, and as much as the peanuts can be gotten back in befor the sweeper sucks them off the other cat and me.

Is the mail really this slow?  I ordered some used books in October and the bookseller insisted that they were sent out in late October.  I was just about ready to tell them that I wanted a refund.  They arrived today in Virginia from Indiana! (pony express would be faster, wouldn't it?)  I hope the Secret Santa presents move faster than my books!
