two of my favourite things linked - nocturnal activities and babes...... :D :D :D

Oh what's this? you mean nocturnal dialysis? well yeah they are all babes!!! :)

I'd love it if our unit started nocturnal.. i could never be a babe but I'd LOVE to come in in the evening, lie in a bed, hopefully sleep and get dialysis!
(but if I dreamed about the IHD nocturnal babes my BP may alarm!!!! :D )

Of course. as long as you dialyze at night, why not?

However the threads here are mostly about nocturnal hemodialysis

Everyone on nocturnal is a babe around here. Who cares how you do it!  As long as it is dialysis and at night for some time over four hours, you are a Nocturnal Babe!

Me, me, me  :cheer:  I want to be a Nocturnal Babe!

The election is over and it seems like it's safe to come back, hehehe.

I'm looking forward to joining an in-center nocturnal hemodialysis study in January.  I have participated in an in-center 8-hour hemo study (during the day) in the past, and I remember how "normal" I felt from that...so I'm really looking forward to this nitey-nite version.

The only disadvantage I see to doing in-center nocturnal hemo is the drive to the center-- a 3 hour roundtrip for me. But getting to wear my pjs out in public just about makes up for that, hehehe.

I'm going to be blogging about my experiences with in-center nocturnal hemo (need to shorten that name...how about NC NocHemo, hehehe)  when I start in January, so I'm saving some of my thoughts on the matter for then. For now, I send out my greetings and salutations to the IHD crew!
