Well I will be having my transplant 28th October , its all happening so fast my older sister started getting tested 2 months ago and we had our last round of tests last week all good and they offered us the 28th as they had a cancellation and needed to fill that spot so we are running around madly trying to organize everything as we have live in Sydney for 3 months as we live 5 hours away from the transplant hospital. Its not all going to be smooth sailing as i had a positive reaction in the second crossmatch , so we are off to Sydney this Tuesday (1 week before the big day ) as i have to have 3 apheresis treatments to remove antibodies so its all getting very exciting but I'm starting to feel scared we are just so grateful to my sister its a really big thing on her part . I'm not sure if i will have internet for the first week or two but I'm sure Amanda will post any updates cheers charee

Charee this is such great news! I will pray everyday for you. I'd send white light and karma but I don't know how to do that.

Oh Charee just imagine how you will be feeling in two short weeks when hopefully you'll be drinking up a storm and feeling oh so much better!!!! I think that's what I would be focusing on at this point.... though I can imagine probably now while rushing to get things organised etc part of you probably would love it to be happening NOW... to stop the anxious buildup and just do it... it must be hard counting down like this!!! I suppose in a way I'd be "lucky" to be waiting on that call... probably wouldn't have much time to be sick in the stomach it would all happen so relatively fast... You will be fine.. I have a feeling!! Can't wait to see your pee bag pic!!!!
