How fun Chris...that is generally how I mail my SS things...or give....one at a time but I generally do the outside in so a car cannot be built until the muffler is received....I once gave my husband a shiny used pickup on a string...my kids helped with that one and even funnier...we came home and saw this pickup in the parking lot with a huge ribbon on it and George said oh how nice, someone is getting a pickup for Christmas....and when he followed the string his face was so much fun for me to watch......
Boxman...that cookie is what my Grandmother baked every Christmas eve after the Christmas program at church...we would come to their house after church and she would be taking the first pan out of the old wood burning stove oven...wow..what a memory.

Kim don't worry...I have a feeling we all have the same thoughts...a gift from anyone is a gift of self and that alone is wonderful.

OK, since this is my first year to participate in this, I have a couple of questions..........

Should I wrap the gifts or do we just put them in all in a box or how do most of you do it?
Do we put our REAL name (or our screen name) on the outside of the box along with the return address?

I am sure I will have more questions but for now, that is all I need to know!   THANKS!!!

she is not my secret person

I went a little over board but I had lots of fun

« Reply #296 on: November 12, 2008, 12:40:55 PM »

This is my first time I am joining in as well.  I sent mine yesterday and I put Secret Santa as name and my address but they made me put my real name and sign it to say there was nothing suss in the box. I wrapped everything separately and then put it in a box.  Had to send it early as it is going over the other side of the world - can't get much further away.

If anyone gets a box with a red card on it - not giving anything away because I had to put my name on the front of the box anyhow - I taped down the card because I forgot to put it in the box so it is not just an address label.  I put a separate card on each pressie just to let you know which part of the world it came from!  It was great fun.  Definitely want to do it again next year.  It is so much fun buying a Christmas present for someone different. Do you have to wait until Christmas to open it??

Kim,  Don't stress.  We all just want a little something to remind us about our great friends here.  Maybe you have my name??  !!    I like rocks and leaves!  :rofl;   No seriously, I like to bring home a rock from places I visit----strange, I know!
