A meow massages the heart.

« on: April 23, 2008, 04:47:40 PM »

Greetings to all!  As a new member, I was asked to introduce myself, so here I am!  My primary interest in joining the site was because I have several relatives with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD).  I am anxious to gain information about not only their disease process but also about the various renal replacement therapies out there.  I am very impressed with the knowledge of the members of this site and think this will be a very valuable resource.  Information gained from the perspective of the patients and caregivers who make up a great deal of the members of this site is invaluable.  It is one thing to get information from professionals in the renal field; it is quite another to get it directly from those who are actually experiencing the ups and downs of the various stages of renal failure.   I look forward to learning and sharing with all of you.  Thank you for having me!

Welcome to the site!  It is a good site for information. The patients here are knowledgeable and want to share the information they have.  If you keep looking for answers, eventually you are going to find them.
