Welcome to our community, Bassman! We are so glad that you found us and decided to join us.  The reason for the big welcome is that we are not really a message board - this is a family!  Really!  This is a place for everyone.  By the way, what is your big question?  Just curious.
There is lots here for you to read.   I discovered this site the month before i started dialysis and it was a real godsend to me.  i felt empowered and knew what questions to ask and what to look for.  So take advantage of all this site has to offer.  Keep reading and keep posting.  :grouphug;

PS  I have to add that i share your two passions as well.  i did a course is guitar (strumming only). And I fish.  However the bass over here are very snobbish.  I have watched them swimming around my bait and turning up their noses.   Just Wednesday i was speaking with another patient who used to fish, and he told me  two things about the bass here - 1. They only like live bait.  2.  If I had caught one, I would not have been able to hold on to it.
