Yes, it is indeed possible for a PD Patient to have a hernia.

This can be a problem that needs immediate evaluation as depending on the location and severity of the hernia it can become a serious problem needing surgical attention.

You MUST see a Dr.  It the pain lever is high consider going to the ER.

It is possible for a section of intestine to protrude through the fault, become 'pinched' off, stopping flow through the intestine.  This can become VERY Bad very quickly.  Which is why you must have this checked out ASAP.

This can be very dangerous, if left too long. Here in the UK the waiting-list on the NHS is very long, so long, that most sufferers only get their operation performed by an emergency-doctor, one, who does the procedure not very often and only when the patient is in a life-dangerous emergency and from then on many patients remain in constant pain for the rest of their life.
On the other hand there are specialists who do nothing else but this operation and they won't make any mistake whatsoever. Unfortunately the real quality doctors cost of course a bit more, but it is worth it because on the other hand lots of enjoyment of life, nerves and money can be saved and avoiding terrible suffering and pain and nerves are also saved by going to the specialist and have it sorted in a medically qualified way ...
