I had a PD cath placed just before Christmas 2018 and started using a Baxter HomeChoice Pro at the beginning of 2019 and have had terminal problems with three machines. Anyone else experiencing this or am I REALLY unlucky?

I think you're really unlucky.  I've been on PD for over 3 years and I have had to replace maybe 3 cyclers in all that time.
